What can your care include?
Your therapist assesses the affected area, swelling, skin, and movement, then plans the other parts of care around your needs. Services include:
- Manual lymphatic drainage
- Compression bandaging
- Garment measuring and fitting
- Skin care and movement guidance
- Self-care teaching for use between visits

How do you arrange care?
- Request an appointment. Describe your concern and whether cancer treatment is ongoing or complete.
- Confirm the information needed. We review your request and any relevant restrictions before offering Jane booking details or a waitlist option.
- Agree on a care plan. Bring relevant surgical records, lymph-node treatment details, and current instructions through the agreed secure route.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need my oncologist’s approval if cancer treatment has finished?
If you have active cancer or are currently receiving cancer treatment, such as chemotherapy or radiation therapy, medical clearance from your oncologist or treating healthcare provider may be required before lymphatic treatment begins.
Raegan will review your health history and current treatment as part of your assessment. If medical clearance is considered necessary for safe and appropriate care, treatment may be postponed until it is received.
If you have completed cancer treatment and are seeking care for ongoing or cancer-related lymphedema, medical clearance is not routinely required unless there are specific health concerns identified during your assessment.
Do you provide care for genital lymphedema?
Genital decompression is not offered at Loam & Moss. Include the affected area in your request so we can confirm whether the available care fits your needs.
Can you share findings with my healthcare team?
With your permission, your therapist can arrange an assessment summary or progress update for a healthcare professional involved in your care. Tell us who needs the information so the recipient and secure sharing arrangements can be confirmed.
Can I use massage therapy benefits for cancer-related lymphatic care?
Your plan may cover eligible massage therapy treatment provided by a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Check provider and service eligibility with your insurer before booking.2 Coverage is not automatic for every component of care. Direct billing is not available.
