Resource Centre editorial policy
The Loam & Moss Resource Centre provides information about lymphatic conditions, treatment, recovery, and finding care in Calgary and Alberta. This policy sets the standards for its sources, review, and corrections.

Sources and evidence
We prioritize relevant clinical guidance, systematic reviews, primary research, and authoritative patient information. Sources must support the specific condition, population, treatment, and outcome discussed.
Where evidence is limited, mixed, or indirect, the page should state that limitation. Expert consensus, clinical experience, and testimonials are not presented as equivalent to controlled research.
Commercial sources may establish narrow facts, such as a course name or product specification. They are not treated as independent proof of treatment benefit.
Writing and review
Pages use plain Canadian English for an adult audience. Resource articles explain health topics; practice pages describe Calgary services. Important claims are linked to sources or flagged internally for confirmation.
Editorial review checks clarity and accuracy of presentation. Clinical review requires an appropriately qualified person, with additional expertise sought where the topic falls outside that reviewer’s competence.
A reviewer is named only after reviewing the stated scope of the exact version. Source checking, business-owner approval, and clinical review are separate steps; none is automatically permission to publish.
Dates and updates
A source-access date records when material was checked. A clinical-review date records an actual review, not a spelling change or automated check. Published and updated dates describe releases of the public page.
Substantive changes reopen the relevant review. Earlier versions and meaningful corrections are retained in the editorial record. New evidence, safety concerns, changed practice details, and broken or outdated sources may prompt revision.
Commercial interests and AI assistance
Loam & Moss offers clinical care in Calgary. Inclusion of a treatment in the Resource Centre does not mean the practice offers it or that it suits every reader. Relevant financial or professional interests should be disclosed.
AI-assisted tools may support research organization, drafting, and consistency checks. People remain responsible for source verification, clinical review, and publication decisions. Tools are not clinical reviewers.
Reporting an error
Contact Loam & Moss with the page, passage, and reason for your concern. Please do not include patient records or detailed health information. Potentially unsafe statements should receive priority review and may be removed while checked.
The Resource Centre is general education, not individual medical advice. The correction route cannot assess urgent health concerns.
