Lymphatic care in Calgary
Loam & Moss
We offer lymphatic care in Calgary, with manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) at the centre of our treatment approach. Our services support people managing lymphedema, lipedema, and swelling following surgery or cancer treatment.
Raegan Brumer is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Post-Operative Recovery Specialist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist.

Calgary Ambulatory Lymphedema Service
This public program provides assessment and treatment for lymphedema that is not related to cancer. It serves Calgary Zone residents aged 16 and older.
Care may include compression bandaging, garment fitting, exercise guidance, and support with managing lymphedema at home.

Cancer rehabilitation at the Arthur Child
The Rehabilitation Oncology program at the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre supports adults with cancer-related lymphedema and other effects of cancer or its treatment.
This is the relevant public rehabilitation pathway in Calgary when swelling is connected to cancer care.

Alberta Lymphedema Association
The Alberta Lymphedema Association maintains a directory of Certified Lymphedema Therapists across the province. It is a useful starting point if you want private treatment near home or live outside Calgary.

Find a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in Alberta
Edmonton’s CRIS Edema Program
The Community Rehabilitation Interdisciplinary Service (CRIS) offers a program for non-cancer-related lymphedema. It serves eligible Edmonton Zone adults aged 18 and older and requires a physician or nurse practitioner referral.
Edema services are accessed through the Mother Rosalie Health Services Centre.

Cancer rehabilitation outside Calgary
Rehabilitation Oncology services are also available through cancer centres in Edmonton, Red Deer, Grande Prairie, and Lethbridge. Available services vary by location.
